This route can be begun from Naval or directly from La Rolda salt flats. First, it climbs to Bolero trenches and then it goes to Pisa trenches. Both of these areas are completely restored with information boards available for you to learn all about them. On the way back to La Rolda salt flats you pass by Santa Quiteria hermitage (16th century), in whose surroundings can see the remains of an older civilization, dating before the Reconquest.
