Route R3: PEÑARRUEBA VIEWPOINT AND LOMA MORERA

This route is short but an intense one. First you ride to San Benito hermitage using the gravel road that goes through the Sierra (range) and later descends to Loma Morera. A very tough ascent is still ahead, but once you arrive at Peñarrueba geodesic vertex you quickly forget about it when you will be surprised with the great view of landscape: The Cotiella and Peña Montañesa peaks in close-up and the rest of the Pyrenees leading to the West. Now descend back to Naval, first riding among kermes oaks until you arrive to La Morera House. Finally where you take the gravel road known as “pista del agua” (called this because it is the water catchment for the village), to Naval.
